SAY says a key is required
Open the gear icon in SAY, enter your personal OpenAI API key, and tap Save Key. The key must begin with “sk-”. Never send your key to SAY Support.

Confirm the key is active in your OpenAI account and that API billing or credits are available. A ChatGPT subscription does not automatically include OpenAI API usage. Replace the saved key in SAY Settings if you created a new one.
Check your internet connection and confirm Settings shows “Connected.” Close and reopen SAY, then try again. OpenAI account limits or service availability can also affect responses.
Use the EN, ES, or FIL control at the top for the interface. In Language Training, separately confirm the language you speak and the language you are learning.
Apple handles the $14.99 app purchase, receipts, and App Store refunds. OpenAI separately handles API billing and usage. Contact the company responsible for the charge you need help with.
