What is SAY?
SAY is a text-only communication and language-training app built around THOUGHT → LANGUAGE → EXPRESSION. It helps you understand what you mean, see how your words may land, find clearer language, and make the final expression your own.
What is SAY Mirror?
SAY Mirror starts with your unfinished thought. It shows what you mean, how your wording may be received, what could be misunderstood, and a clearer example. Then you rewrite it in your own words and receive one concise adjustment.
How much does SAY cost?
SAY costs $14.99 as a one-time App Store purchase. There is no SAY subscription or recurring SAY fee. Taxes and regional pricing may vary.
Do I need an OpenAI API key?
Yes. SAY’s AI-powered features require your personal OpenAI API key. OpenAI API usage is separate from the app purchase and is billed directly by OpenAI according to your usage and OpenAI’s pricing.
Where is my API key stored?
Your key is encrypted in your iPhone’s secure storage, hidden after saving, and sent only with requests you choose to make. SAY does not store your API key on its servers. You can replace or remove it in Settings.
What languages does SAY support?
The interface and training flow support English, Spanish, and Filipino/Tagalog. Choose the language you speak and the language you want to learn.
Is SAY just a translation app?
No. SAY teaches natural phrasing, meaning, structure, tone, and useful phrases, then asks you to create your own version. The goal is language formation—not word-for-word translation.
Does SAY use a microphone?
No. SAY is intentionally text-only. It does not use microphone input, speech recognition, AI voice output, or speech evaluation.
Is SAY always right?
No AI system is always right. Review every result before using it, especially when the message involves important personal or professional consequences.
Is SAY therapy or professional advice?
No. SAY is an educational communication and language-training tool. It is not therapy, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, or an emergency service.
