1. Who we are
SAY is provided by 7vn Designs LLC (“SAY,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to the SAY app, website, and related support services.
2. Text and settings you provide
SAY may process unfinished thoughts, practice responses, language selections, app settings, and support messages you choose to provide. SAY is text-only and does not require microphone input, speech recognition, AI voice output, or speech evaluation.
3. Your OpenAI API key
AI-powered features require a personal OpenAI API key. The app stores that key using encrypted secure storage on your device. It is hidden after saving and transmitted only when you make an AI request. SAY’s service uses the key to pass that request to OpenAI and does not retain the key. You may replace or remove it through Settings.
4. AI processing
Text submitted to SAY Mirror or Language Training is transmitted through the SAY service to OpenAI for processing under OpenAI’s applicable terms and privacy practices. Do not submit information you do not want processed by an AI service.
5. Technical information
We may receive limited technical information such as device type, app version, diagnostic data, and basic service events needed for security and troubleshooting. Apple and OpenAI may separately process purchase, API usage, crash, or account information under their policies.
6. How information is used
- Provide SAY Mirror, language training, and practice review.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations.
- Improve reliability without selling personal information.
7. Sharing
Information may be shared with service providers needed to operate SAY, when you direct us to do so, to comply with law, or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information.
8. Retention and deletion
SAY does not provide cloud conversation history in its current version. Your API key remains in device secure storage until you remove it. Operational records, if any, are retained only as reasonably necessary for security, support, and legal obligations.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device and OpenAI account, and never send an API key to support.
10. Children
SAY is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. A revised effective date will be posted here.
